Hello all! I am currently in the process of converting my bike to more of a cafe configuration thanks to some inspiration from CentexHawk, CafeWanter, and others and am looking to install some Vortex Clip-Ons - 7 Degree I ordered from RevZilla. I have received them in the mail but can not install or even measure the old length of controls on the bars until I have my bike back from the shop next thursday (getting some rejetting work done).

Can anyone tell me who has installed clip-ons on their 90s hawk, how many inches of surface area are needed from the end of the grips on each handlebar up to the end of the controls on each side to fit? Appreciate it all, I can measure myself in a week but I will get these bad boys back in the mail asap if I hear they won't work. For reference, each clip-on bar is eleven inches long and I am concerned I will need them to be at least 12. Thanks in advance!

Contact user CentexHawk, he just decided to pull the clip-ons OFF his conversion in favor of some MX bars. He'll probably be able to help you.
