Is really really scarce.  I'm having the dickens trying to find a copy.  Anyone know if the Honda manual still in print for the 86 450 will work for an 82?  I've got the Clymer one but I'd really like to get one of these too.

Check your Clymer manual and see if it mentions any differences specifically related to the 86 model year. If not, then the manuals should be good. But if I remember correctly there were some changes made for the 1986 model year that are not present on the earlier bikes.

The only differences I can think of between the 82 and 86 would be:
- wheels...in 86 they introduced a solid, cast wheel as opposed to the stamped and riveted wheels on the earlier 450sc's. Same sizes though.
- The front fender was painted on the 86
- OEM paint and graphics were slightly different

That's all I can think of off the top of my head. I had both the Clymer manual and the honda manual for my old 86. The clymer covered all 400-450cc twin Rebels and Nighthawks from 78-86 (maybe 87). Very few differences really.

As stated any year from '82-'86 will be fine.  I think the only changes to the 450 were cosmetic as already mentioned.

Wicked guys, thanks!  I figured they couldn't have changed too much around.
