Spent Saturday and Sunday riding the backroads of central Kentucky with a bunch from the VentureRiders. It was good for me to get out on the big bike with a group to get to see some of the beautiful horse farms around Lexington, make multiple river crossings by ferry(Ohio and Kentucky Rivers), ride mountain roads to rival those of Deal's Gap, and explore the fabulous food of the little mom and pop restaurants in the back country.

There are a couple of photos of me on my blue Venture Royale with a grey helmet. The wood bridge that we rode over to cross the Rockcastle River is on KY Rt89. The RideOhio bunch is riding out to famous Rabbit Hash, KY this weekend and I will be on the Nighthawk.

Here is the link to the photos:

Looks like my kind of ride.... good friends, good riding, and good eats.  Thanks for sharing.
