I stumbled across this website recently. It is a mechanic with tons of helpful hints. His articles are generic in nature. I am finding that the site is quite useful and would be particularly to someone new to wrenching. Just thought I would share.

Dan's course has been brought up here several times. I think highly of it for learning the principles of what we're doing when we keep our old bikes running.

Maybe it should be stickied?
