I had read about using Rotella automotive oil in the '91 Nighthawk, but can not find that thread again.  I was hoping someone would know the weight to use????

Thanks

Great thanks,

I use Motul full synthetic in My Triumph,  but at 15.00 + shipping a liter........and this project bike being a temporary resident in my garage....I was looking for a functional cost effective version, 16.00 a gallon at Wal-Mart for the Rotella is waaaaay better  happy1

Do a search for "Oil Thread", it should have all the info you need.

I've been using Rotella 15w-40 with no problems. It's JASO-MA rated. Good enough for me…

+1

I changed to this before my 2500km adventure, and I gotta say, my bike loves it.
