Spotted this on the Sacramento, CA craigslist.  What is the going price for a decent nighthawk these days?  Just curious, no plans to sell for me or him.   smiler  Mine's in decent shape, my father in law's looks spotless.  (Both 85 700s)

Off the top, probably right. What a descend one with 20-40k what $1600. - $2000. comes to mind.

I think one that is clean, low milage, good tires and not missing anything (like side covers) should be able to get around $2500

This one is about $300-600 high IMO.

I've bought many things from "extremely extremely firm" sales.

Crisp brand new $100.00 bills dealt in front of them works many times.

If this was my buy, I'd fan 18 Benjamins on the table.  Wait about 2 minutes, and add 1 more.  Then walk away and wait for the phone call.
