I have always liked the Honda Super Magna. They are rare but I have seen them turn up on cycle trader for around $3,000 to $4,000 which seems like a great deal for a bike that was a collaboration between the Honda designers and Arlen Ness. That's a very cool machine!

Nice bike!
I makes me wonder why there is only one front disc for that size of a bike though.

THANX 4 ALL THE COMMENTS nice, are you keeping the nighthawk?
ABSOLUTELY, I STILL NEED TO PAINT THE HEADERS, ONCE I DO SO I'LL POST THE PICS IN THE OTHER POST. THE MAGNA HAS BEEN TAKING ALL MY TIME THIS WEEK. Nice bike! I makes me wonder why there is only one front disc for that size of a bike though.
DON'T KNOW, THE OLD MAGNAS BOTH V45 AND V65 HAD THE DOUBLE DISC BRAKES. I was actually bidding on one of these hte other day on Fleabay. Didn't win, but all the same I think I truly want a V65 Magna. Either way, sweet bike brother!
THE V65 IS '86 OR OLDER... AWSOME BIKE, BUT I'VE READ THEY HAVE SOME SERIOUS PROB WITH CAM LUBRICATION...NOW WHAT I REALLY WANT IS A STAR VMAX. NOW THAT'S THE s???Z HOLMS. I JUST LOVE IT'S UGLINESS , WEIRD RIGHT, THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE IT LOOK COOL IT TO STREETFIGHT IT. PLUS 145 HP DOESN'T SOUND BAD AT ALL. THE M109R HAS 100HP. I'LL TAKE ANY YEAR 1985 AND UP. SOME MORE MAGNA PICS AND A VMAX.

Actually the M109 has 127 hp at the crank. When you compare HP make sure your comparing crank to crank or wheel to wheel HP. Also the M109 strength is its torque. Dont get me wrong though, the VMax will definately kick its butt.

Ok thanx I thought i was 100hp, the old vmax the one with the 1200 engine has 145hp, but the new one with the 1700 engine (i assume is the same warrior engine but boosted up) has nearly 200hp.... know that's just crazy!! check out my recently upholstered seats

TIME GOES BY SUPER FAST, JUST SOLD MY NIGHTHAWK AND RIGHT NOW SELLING THE MAGNA. I HAVE 2 BIKES SEEN A 1994 VMAX AND A 1998 ZX6 DON'T KNOW WHICH ONE TO CHOOSE, THE VMAX IS A VMAX. THE ZX6 LOOKS BETTER AND ALL MY FRIENDS HAVE (WHAT I CALL "PLASTIC") BIKE, I'M THE ONLY ONE WITH A CRUISER. THE VMAX DOWNSIDE IS THAT IS OLDER, THOUGHT IN EXCELLENT SHAPE, THE ZX6 I KNOW I'LL OUTGROW IT VERY SOON CUZ I'VE JUST CHANGED 2 BIKES IN LESS THAN 6 MONTHS AND I'LL PROBABLY WANT A 750 DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.. IF U WANT U CAN TAKE A LOOK AT THEM VMAX http://www.clasificadosonline.com/UDMotoraDetail.asp?ID=555873ZX6 http://www.clasificadosonline.com/UDMotoraDetail.asp?ID=556323

UPDATE.. I GOT THE ZX6. THE VMAX WAS IN FAIR SHAPE BUT IT NEEDED SOME WORK AND I REALLY DIDN'T WANNA PAY 3G FOR A BIKE THAT I THEN HAD TO START WORKING ON...THE BIKE HADN'T RUN FOR 2 YEARS AND IT WAS STORED WITH A 1/4 OF TANK AND WHEN THE GUY TURNED IT ON, I DID START BUT U COULD SMELL PURE GASOLINE THROUGH THE EXHAUST... MAYBE SPARK PLUGS, MAYBE CARBS NEEDING CLEANING (PROBABLY CREATED RUST ON THE TANK ALSO) AND ALSO THE FRONT SHOCK SEALS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE ZX6 WAS IN MORE THAN EXCELLENT SHAPE. IT HAD 9000 MILES, APPARENTLY IT WAS DROPPED ONCE, ON THE LEFT SIDE. BUT IT WAS REPAIRED ONLY THE FAIRING WAS DAMAGED, RUNS GREAT, IT EVEN HAS THE OWNERS MANUAL...I FEELS AS IF I HAD BOUGHT A NEW 98 BIKE OF THE KAWASAKI DEALER IN 2009..IT'S ONLY MISSING A COUPLE OF STICKERS, AND THATS IT

I didn't fool anyone... In Puerto Rico, everyone loves Suzuki...the other bikes don't sell, so everyone knows what a gixxer looks like... it was basically for the COPS... here u can't run bikes under 350cc in the highway. the HYOSUNG 650CC looks exactly like the 250cc, and if they see a those stickers with 600 on it, chances are they aren't gonna stop me. they'r all just stikers i got from Ebay... the bike had none of those.. the bike ran well, i ran 70mph w/o forcing it much. but now i want a 01-03 1000 gixxer. so had to sell it..

yeah, the hyosung comet didn't come with hardly any stickers or fairings for that matter. my buddy had one that he claimed he could do a buck twenty on at the top end, which isn't bad for a 250. my 650 thumper maxed out at 85 :| but i can see the cops reasoning, since 250 is the smallest a bike can be here in the states to ride on the highways. thats a lot of brake for a little 250... and inverted forks in the front too, huh. ritzy!
i don't think the dual front rotors was factory on the comet, that looks like an upgrade, but the inverted forks is factory on that bike. not much on that bike is factory really. the rims are different, the rear tail section is different, the rotors are different, and it actually had handlebars when it was stock, not clip ons.

Custom82Hawk... everything is stock on the bike, the rims, brakes, suspension... it has inverted forks, but they're not adjustable or anything. Also the suspension is quite soft. which is not bat under 60, but 70 and up its not as stable as it could be, then again, it's a 250cc. The springs on the forks can be changed but it's better and cheaper to swap them 4 the 650cc ones. The tail has a fender eliminator, and the grab bar/handle (don't really now the name) comes in gray, but it was painted black hence the different look. It also has 2004 gixxer mirror, cuz the comet ones are ugly as hell. detdrbuzzard... WoW, what yr. is that mag. Go! Magna.. Boo! Shadow... I guess i've been fortunate to have some awesome bikes.. The 450 was super fun, the Magna is just Super sports cruiser... I loved how it revd to 10,000 rpms and had a 6th gear and the looks are
