I finally found "The One"! Just got it last weekend! An '86 NH 700S, found it on craigslist on a trip over to Seattle. Brought it home here to Yakima, WA in my truck since I had no helmet, much less a permit. Now those points have been rectified, along with a permit and a reserved spot for a MSF class in July. It has 31,000 miles, barely a scratch anywhere, came with the rack and two Givi hardcases, and absolutly purrs. Wanted this very bike since I graduated in '86. Took my first ride around the neighborhood last night and my face still hurts from grinning! Been lurking around here as a guest for a long time.....so glad to be here

Sweet RWB. And ride safe. Make sure you find some time to get some parking lot practice in if you can.

Nice bike! I know the feeling.
Can you post some more shots of that rack? Does it attach down at the rear foot pegs? Since OEM racks are only available to the few, I'm thinking I'll eventually take a shot at making one, and it's nice to see what designs are out there. Yours looks quite sturdy.

to the forum! If I'm not mistaken we were lusting over that very bike not a week or two ago wondering who would come up with it. Glad it went to someone who appreciates it. Take care and ride safe!
