i wonder if i could fit a 18 inch wheels on a 84 650sc onto my 85 700sc. the reason why is that i'm building a bobber, and i notice my front wheel is a 16 incher. and i notice that the 650sc has an 18 incher. do i have to change out my forks? or could i just reuse it? please chime on this! thank you!

you would possibly have to completely rework the brakes if the wheel even fit

Why would you bob a 700S?

700S rotors are interchangeable with 650 rotors, and many other Honda's.

The 650 has a 19 inch front wheel, and you would have to check if the wheel fits the gap (the fork brace might get in the way), if it bolts up to the axle, and if the brake rotors are equidistant apart.

Then you have to find a way to make the speedometer read correctly.

I wouldn't be able to tell you for sure.  One would have to measure both wheels.  You might be able to cross reference the parts on www.bikebandit.com

I agree.
Bobbing it is the lazy way out here. I guarantee that if you bob it, you will get rid of it after the season and it will be worth little.

If you at least try to salvage some of it in normal working condition, you will enjoy riding it and keep it longer. Plus it will be worth a heck of a lot more to a lot more folks when it comes time to sell.

You can get buy without the side covers and there are several folks here who have installed round headlights on the Nighthawk S.

I have some sheet metal drawings for fabricating the headlight brackets so they cover up the electronics on the side of the instrument cluster
