I have some questions. I have two bikes. First is going to be my daily driver 1980 cb750k. Second is a cb650sc but no title.
I want to swap over a few things but not sure if it's worth it.
First... I really would like dual brakes up front. 650 has them but 750 does not. The fork diameter is bigger on 650 so I would have to swap whole tree? The 650 rim is mag, and one inch smaller in diameter. The 750 rim is bigger but the spokes are rusting to hell.
Even worth swapping?
Also, if I swap the front wheel... I would want the back to match? Is it even possible? The 650 has a driveshaft the 750 a chain. Is it doable or forget the whole thing? Could I just get taller tires to match the bigger 750s?
Thanks!

Your looking at some serious wrenching to swap all that out...and it will most likely booger with the steering geometry of the bike, which trust me, you won't notice until it's a big problem. I don't think there's any way of converting the shaftie real wheel to work with the chain drive, short of (forgive the cliche') reinventing the wheel.

I see. What are my options to add dual brakes? I heard of gl1000 forks or some mess like that. Guess I am stuck with the ugly spokes.

I don't think the change in geometry would be huge. Cafe racer guys do that sort of fork swap all the time, so your biggest concern should be fork length.
But if I were going to go through all that effort, I'd probably get a better donor front end. Suspension has come a long way since 1983.

Maybe swapping the motor and the swing arm from the 650 to the 750? I know the motor mounts are different, but it may be feasible.

Do you need dual brakes because the bike doesn't stop or do you just want dual brakes ? There's a lot of people here with 750's that have never complained of bad braking . Why not just sell off the 650 in parts and buy the actual parts for your bike , nothing fits like the stuff actually made for it . 650's don't make very good parts bikes for 750 since almost nothing is the same .

Guess I am stuck with the ugly spokes.
Wouldn't it be easier to relace the spokes with new ones?

i've seen gl 1000 forks on '69 - '78 cb750's but not the dohc 750's. to get dual disc on your bike you need a complete front end from the same year 750f. same for the rear and plus the foot peg brackets and hardware

DO YOU MEAN NO TITLE ALSO PROPER PUNCTUATION AND GRAMMAR AND NOT HAVING THE CAPS LOCK SET TO CRUISE CONTROL FOR COOL ALL THE TIME ARE MOST APPRECIATED ON NIGHTHAWK FORUMS.
That depends on a lot of factors.

IMHO your best bet is to get that 650 titled. It is superior to the 750 is every respect - more power, less weight, better handling, less maintenance, better looking, better brakes, etc. etc. Getting a new title depends on what state you're in, some places are easier than others but I would seriously look into it.
