Howdy everyone!  A very Merry Christmas to everyone!
Sorry, guys, no pics, such a short ride! Too short!
It's been a while, with weather and "life", but I finally got back on the NH today!  A Christmas Day ride!  SWEEEEEET!  I only went about 5 miles, just "around the block" in country terms.  Oh, it was SO good to get back on two wheels again!  I missed so much through November and December!  I  am looking at a few "nice" days coming up next week, I hope, and maybe I'll get the 200 or so miles in that I  need to finish 2008 up at 14,000 miles even on the Nighthawk!  I'd like to start 2009 right at 14,000 miles.  It's no record breaking cold ride, it's about 34 F out there right now, but man oh man, what a ride!  banana YES!  biker_h4h1  OK, celebration over, I'll be going to rip open Christmas gifts in a little bit...   biker_h4h1

I used to make a point of going on a short ride on all the major holidays, but have fallen out of the habit.  I think the local crazies are pretty adamant about a New Year's Day ride every year, and I'll see if I can do that.

Amazing how alien it can become after a short break.  Any more than a week and I'm reacquainting myself with the bike and the whole skill set.
