Oil Spec 82 nighthawk

Does anyone know the oil capacity of an 82 nighthawk 750? I can't find info on this forum. I searched the web and found anywhere between 2.9 quarts and 4.8 quarts. I just did an oil change (oil and filter) and have 4 quarts in there, and it doesn't even show up on the dip stick. So I'm gonna guess that it needs almost 5 quarts. I'm using 10w-40 motorcycle oil because that's what the sticker said on the bike frame.

I just sold mine, but sold the book also.  I used to buy 4 liters and even with the filter never needed more...  not sure.
