My first trip to PA last year was an eye opener. Seeing a guy come around the corner with the usual tee shirt, jeans, girls in flip flops but then taking a close 2nd look and seeing NO helmet!!!

Are the American Bikers Aimed Towards Education going to change their name after this?

I read this elsewhere, shook my head, and only breifly considered the irony of the situation and that I hope all his buddies out there protesting helmet laws felt/feel really, really stupid now. Problem is, I bet they're all the harly riding, engine revving, wife beating good ol' boys who chalk it up to chance and that it'll never happen to them. Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk

You know I just recently had an eye opener. I was in Texas a few weeks ago for a family reunion and I rode my bike just so I could ride with out a helmet. Well needless to say as I was getting ready to ride out to the reunion (which was about 60 miles from my grandparents house ) my 4 year old little niece came up to me with my helmet and said "Don't forget your helmet uncle Nafin I don't want you to get hurt." that was the first time that it really hit me that the decisions that I make not only effect me but a whole lot of other people too. So now I'm a big time helmet advocate I couldn't even imagin thinking about riding without one so big thanks goes out to my niece Sierra.

Give her a high five for me next time you see her! I follow MOTGMOTT, but I absolutely will not ride without a helmet.
