Today I FINALLY got a chance to get out on a nice ride. I headed out to Nockamixon State Park, It's only about a 45 minute ride from my house. What a beautiful state park. I stopped a couple times and took a few pics.

Main entrance to the park.

Sailboats everywhere.

Nice road into the main Marina

At the Marina

Really nice mg sitting in the lot.

An ice cream truck was driving through the lot, could not resist the cherry water ice.

Nice view while enjoying the water ice.

A couple more views

Sat on the rocks for a little while and enjoyed the view

Cool picture of some ducks hanging out in the lilly pads.

And I saw this pulling in as I was gearing up for my ride home.

So that is it. My longest ride of the year so far, I logged about 120 miles and had a blast. Cant wait till the Susquehanna rally.

My two favorite things to do...sail and ride my nighthawk. Haven't done any sailing yet, but your photos wet my whistle.

Great pics and thanks for sharing. Glad you able to get out.

Very nice report... drooler over that Cobra even though I'm gonna take a guess and say it was probably a kit car.

After the whooping the Phillies put on my Braves yesterday, I thought about boycotting your thread.  Boy that was hard to watch - I should have gone riding.  Alas, curiosity got the best of me, and better judgement prevailed.   beer

I've never been sailing, but would like to try one day.

I've never sailed before drdubb, but after spending some time there I"m itching to go kayaking.

I had such a nice ride there on Saturday that I went back Sunday, if you liked that duck pic, you may like this one better.
