Due to a sewage back up incident last Saturday I had to pull the Three Amigas out of the garage so I decided to pose them "naked" for a photo shoot. Additional pics of the Nighthawk are on the other board with similar titile. For those who have not seen them yet, this is my beloved vintage pair...family heirlooms that have been officially and steadily under my care and feeding for the last six years. Enjoy!

Yo Kitch, that is one hell of a collection you have there. Get a few more and you can open your own honda museum.

A 75 CB550 was my return to biking after the kids got older. Here it is before I sold it. A fun bike, but I don't miss it now.

Thank you all very much for the kind comments So you can just give me that 550 four and we'll call it a day. Awesome collection man. Everybody always wants to steal away my middle gal She's actually the last 500 Four (73). The first 550 (74) came with the same color and had very similar tank graphics. Wow! Those are gorgeous. Do they get ridden much?
I try to take them out for a spin every weekend weather permitting. I'm also now starting to show 'em off at local cruise nights, shows and the occasional group ride. A 75 CB550 was my return to biking after the kids got older. Here it is before I sold it. A fun bike, but I don't miss it now.
Yeah it was a lot work bringing the 500 back to life especially since the carbs were trashed. I got a good set from ebay a few years back and learned the painful art of removing, servicing and installing the carb bank Since my latest adjustments over a year ago she's been running like a top so no complaints...knock on wood. Thanks again!

Ugh, that copper/sunburst color is great. I was hoping Sumer would let me paint the '72 CL350 that color, but alas, she wants it to be red.

Beautiful bikes Kitch. After seeing your 750 up close I know how well maintained and clean those bikes are kept. Love those paint jobs too.

Thanks FB...you still have the coolest helmet though Which one is 'Precious' again? Yes they are all precious to me but you officially named my NH and she likes it I'm loving the vintage CB550K but those crash bars have to go...yuck.
A practical (and period correct) necessity at this point. I may look into the less bulky case guards I've seen for these bikes on ebay.

Absolutely! A bike from the 70s/early 80s would not look right without the giant chrome crash bar. I used to love those things. Not only could you mount some highway pegs, but they also made a great mounting point for giant, semi-truck style air horns :-) If they made one to fit the Nighthawk, I'd probably buy one.
