Missed out

I'm fully committed to ATGATT, but I'm also pretty sensitive to the heat. Ever since about mid-July last year, I've been keeping my eyes open for a good deal on some mesh gear.

Tonight I checked the local CL and -- lo and behold -- a guy was selling a FieldSheer mesh jacket with quilted liner for $49. My size and, best of all, $49.

I immediately called and it turned out the guy had just posted it minutes before I saw it. I was the first caller. I'm thinking -- SCORE!!!

Then I noticed that he was in a city over an hour away from me. Due to other commitments, I can't get there tonight or tomorrow to check it out, and I'm leaving on vacation Tuesday morning. Sadly, I had to let it go.

Ebay...I've gotten some good used gear, very nice, very cheap, on Ebay. Of course CL too.

You won't regret going to mesh armored gear in the hot months...Oh, will you never regret it..

I just gave away a mens' small jacket because well I'm a woman and it didn't fit through the shoulders and chest...but it was Fieldsheer, it was high quality and the new owner is the guy who bought my NH! Karma galore, right?

+1 on eBay. I just picked up a Firstgear mesh jacket there for $40 counting shipping. There's quite a few jackets on there right now. Dont just search for mesh jackets. If you do not as many will pop up. Search Joe Rocket jacket, firstgear jacket, fieldsheer jacket, etc. The Jor Rocket and Firstgear jackets seem to be the cheapest right now. Good luck!

I got my jacket and pants from eBay for ~ $100 used. I've worn the crap out of both of them. Come to think of it I also bought my winter jacket from eBay because it had the best price.
