Just a little teaser for now. I just made it back from a 4 week/5000km ride that took me through 10 different countries (including my own) and I'm just starting to go through my photos. Just wanted to share this peaceful little camp site in the middle of the Alps I had all to myself, and a bit of the view I had there:

These just grow in the wild down there:

To the right:

To the left:

The rest will follow when I've sorted and resized the rest of the pictures and find some time to write up some of my experiences. Don't expect a big one like last year though, I was kinda lazy in my picture taking and write ups this trip  smoking

Sorry guys, this is taking a little longer then I'd like.

I'm having some problems uploading photo's from the location where I am now but as soon as I get it fixed I'll get back to this thread.

Europeans have a different standard than we do. I once worked.with a German Meister that would quote research saying that less than 6 weeks vacation is bad for your.health.
Americans have.surpassed.the japanese in the amount of hours worked per year (if you have a job)

Great pics - I'm looking forward to the complete report. One of my regrets is that I wasn't into motorcycles when I was stationed in Germany. Ah, to be in a place where you can be in so many countries in a fairly short time!

I love the custom bodywork on your Nighthawk, it makes it look a lot like a TDM.   ImaPoser

So... drdubb, is that true?  I'd heard that about "holiday", but I didn't really want to believe it... as that will just make me depressed.

I'm super pumped to see your pics and hear about your epic journey, M.  I'm sure you wont let us down.

I have moved to Kentucky, and the riding is awesome.  Get you and your scooter on a boat and get over here!  Oh ya, and there are jobs here!
