This topic makes me shudder.
I get stung, I pass out. Five minutes or so before I start to fade.
I guess I can slow down, pull over and get stopped and off in five minutes.
Shouldn't be too tough... happy1

Getting off a bike is as easy as falling off a log.

Getting off a bike successfully - now, that's another thing entirely.

I got a bee in my helmet once. Fortunately, it was so cold that day that the poor thing could hardly move. I don't know how she was able to fly in the first place.

I had a cast on my left wrist years ago -- the cast just wrapped the thumb and cut across the middle of my palm, and my fingers were free for the clutch.  Not sure the Dr thought it was suitable for riding, but it worked.  I was riding behind a big truck on a two lane blacktop and I SAW this thing get caught in the slipstream behind the truck, sort of bob and weave and WHAM -- straight into the cast on the top of the hand.  Instant fire -- my first thought was that the trucker had thrown out a cigarette butt, but when I got to the side of the road (as quickly as possible -- but safely, mind you) there was a pissed off wasp wedged down in there, stinging me like mad.  Had to use a stick to sort-of mash him a bit to get him to knock it off ( and yes, a wasp was harmed in the making of that wasp-pulp) and by the time I made it home  1/2 hour later my hand was a balloon.  In a cast.  Not fun.

Did you know that that little saw on a Swiss Army knife will cut off a cast in no-time flat?

Will an Epi-Pen shoot through riding pants?

I hope you don't ever have to find out.

Yes, it will. Heavy leather might defeat them, but textile pants shouldn't be a problem.

My first gear riding pants have nice good quality zippers down each leg. My riding buddy has been instructed in how to use the Epi-Pen if I'm not functioning. It's always in my tank bag when the weather is bee-conducive.
