Hmmm...I've been keeping an eye on that jacket. Might have to spring for it. Anyone else have any experience with it? When you say it's a 3 season jacket I assume you mean Fall/Winter/Spring? Looks a little hefty for summer down here.

I also but I was thinking maybe spring, summer and fall. It has zippered vents up front and an exit in the back. I was looking at it also as a rain coat, also. Because it states, "From the dry scorching heat of the African summer, to the continent’s short, but incredibly wet monsoon season, the Kilimanjaro is built to persevere. I wouldn't need a rain suit just pants with this coat.

I love mine and highly recommend it. Take the liner out if its too hot and open the vents. When it's too cold I use the First Gear Warm and Safe liner and stay nice and warm. Great armor and workmanship

FWIW, motorcyclegear.com has them for $189 including shipping. Just a heads up.

With these you don't need raingear. I've done a couple of hours and only my hands got wet. I wear mine until the high 80's as far as temps go. On the highway I don't get hot, but around town the high temps can be too much. I crashed in my Kat last hear and I was glad I had it on.
I think I'm going to add this to my gear list.

I ordered this jacket along with the Katmandu pants that were also on clearance for $125 from Motorcyclegear.com. Looking forward to trying them out.

I spent about 2 hours riding on the freeway yesterday in the pouring rain wearing my new Kilimanjaro jacket, Katmandu pants, and Tourmaster Solution 2.0 boots. Not one drop of water got through them. Needless to say, I'm pretty impressed. I love the jacket and the boots. The pants I can say I like, but I don't love the way the knee pads fit. I feel like they don't have quite enough of a curve in them so they do press against your kneecaps a little. It doesn't bother me if I'm wearing pants underneath, but if I'm just in shorts it's a little annoying. I wore the gear the other day when it was in the high 90's as well and it's definitely too hot. It has vents, but they don't flow near as much air as a mesh jacket will. The pants especially don't flow air very well since there is nothing to hold the vents open. I think this will be more for 80's and below weather. I'll stick with the mesh for anything over 90 degrees.
I really like the solution boots. They do get a little hot when it's in the 90's since there is no venting in them, but they make up for it in the rain. They are extremely comfortable right off the bat without even being broken in. I think they've got to be one of the best deals out there for waterproof riding boots.
The Kilimanjaro Jacket is really awesome. The quality is excellent. Right away it just feels like a much better piece of gear than the Cortech mesh jacket that I have. I love how the liner can be removed and worn as a separate jacket that is also waterproof. I wore the liner today around town because it was raining and it worked great. Other than the little buttons that stick out to snap it into the main jacket, it is a really sharp athletic looking jacket.
So my conclusion is: Jacket: an excellent buy Boots: an excellent buy Pants: I don't dislike them enough to return them, but I'm not in love with them.

I already had the kathmandu jacket, but I bought the kilimanjaro anyway and I really like it. Only worn it once, but it will get a lot more use. Better pockets and storage. Got a BRP ride scheduled for later this month. I've always like the pant as well, but air doesn't flow too well.
