Looks good I see you have an Action Packer as your trunk. I put the exact same thing on my nighthawk a few months ago. While it might not be the classiest case, it sure is handy.

I'm liking your DR650. I've been thinking about getting an "adventure bike" soon.

Bikes are looking good How are they running? Thanks Jeff. They are all running good. The 650 hawk is running great, the 700 hawk has a little stumble at around 4k in 1st gear, I need to start with syncing the carbs. The DR 650 is running good also, just put a titanium gsxr 1000 muffler on it (common mod for this bike) and still need to install the jet kit.

I know you probably answered this before HH but if you could only keep one of the Nighthawks which would it be the 650 or 700s? This is assuming that they were both in the same mechanical condition.

Hey Dan, That is something I've been thinking about for a while. I think I would keep the 700s. I do love both bikes but they are different. The main reason would be because of size. I'm a pretty big guy and the 700 fits me better. I do feel a little cramped on the 650. Both bikes handle great, the 700 is faster but the 650 is plenty fast enough. The 700 has a little more aggressive riding position than the 650. At the PA rally the 650 ran great all weekend and is more than enough bike on the twisty back roads. It's very nimble and light. What my intentions are is to sell the 650 and pick something up a little more touring worthy in the near future. Then I will have the dual sport (DR650), the sporty bike (700s) and a touring bike (?).

Nice collection, HH. It seems you like the bikes with square headlamps

Very fine collection my friend. Having seen your 650 up close, I'm sure your 700S is just as oustanding Looking forward to seeing what you come up with for a "touring" bike one of these days.

While it is a shame to see such a nice Nighthawk go away it makes a lot of sense.
