Hit the left directional and rear blinks fine, front runner goes out and direction filament lights but doesn't flash - let me tighten that a bit, actually flashes but so barely you don't notice it - so i'm thinking simply from the drop in amperage as a result of the rear flashing.

Right side works fine. Replaced bulbs side to side, traced wiring behind the headlight, all plugged in and disconnecting has results, be it rather on the weird side, but disconnecting and reconnecting has effect.

Any suggestions ?

Stock signals or aftermarket?

Otherwise, I agree...you're probably loosing power through the wiring somewhere.

Well, i've now isolated the problem to the actual blinker assembly. All wiring on the bike works when i flip the wiring. The assembly tests ok but once a bulb is installed, it's grounding all wires which essentially cancels out the flash from doing its job. I'll put in a final note for future reference as to the solution.

I feel like this is a matter of "Argues with self and loses".

So when you say blinker assembly, do you mean the left hand controls on the bar, or the signal light itself?

The signal light itself.

So here was the solution. Pull the stem, pull the wiring, unplug the bulb, test all the leads, plug everything back in - it works perfectly.

Oh sorry was that confusing, did it sound like i did nothing, why yes and thanks for following. Seems Microsoft had a part in designing Honda's signals, and all you need to do is reinstall and everything works ok again.
