  A very versatile design for Honda.  It started as the simple 50 hp street bike pictured above, but in later years it also morphed into a fully dressed, junior Goldwing and a 97hp turbocharged sport bike.  About the only thing they didn't do was use it as a dirt bike.

I had one in Australia -- bulleetproof, lots of pull, and that heavy thumping engine.  Poor man's Guzzi.  I'd buy one of the 650 if I could find one in decent shape.  Loved that bike.

Had the GL500 Silverwing, didn't care for it at all, sold it after one season. The handlebars, seat and weight all made my "do not like" list fast.
