Dang this took for ever to hook up with these folks. Few months back I joined another forum, PNWRiders. Seems there 99.999 % Rocket's.. Bailed on many meet ups and the sun is real short now and weather is going South. Today I made it happen. About 40 mile ride North, close to Canada we met at a bar and grill..... When I pulled up I was 2nd to show. Ninja Chick was there on here husbands Brand New Suzi 1300, she said, OH what a little bike I said it's a classic, this will be fun. One other, a dude, of 20 + people said, Shinny So good times meeting new bike people, Great ribbing to boot. Here is the line up. When we all split they didn't say good by, good to see ya one Nutin Maybe just me, but I fallowed a CBR 600 half way home on the interstate. That thing is fastolaaaaa..... Dude was parking his Harley, said, next time bring yours as I was picture'n about. I said I have one there with the Helmet on the back, he said oh nice, haha......

Sounds like an interesting evening. but I fallowed a CBR 600 half way home on the interstate. That thing is fastolaaaaa.....
Was it done up? Seriously when I ride with the 600 crotch rockets, I don't find them faster then my bike. They might be able to get the front tire up easier then I could. But normal driving, passing, cornering they are pretty close. When I ride with the liter bike crowd...that's a different story

twice the HP, no staying up with them on a all out. He simmered down and I hung on his back tire. I'll be on a new ride next season, Black bike going by by. 700s staying, getting new top end next season....... When I fired up the engine, Ninja chick said WOW. I said Ya, it's a classic, she said, it sounds GOOD, then Red line revs her old mans new 1300. Great way to warm it up We now have rain, there was a ride over the mountains Saturday I wanted to fallow on but no wet for this Guy.. Would be fun showing them how the 700s can hug a corner and come out of it..

twice the HP
On a 600?...nah. 2 x 80HP (claimed HP of a 700s) = 160HP. Not even the new liter bikes have that much HP stock.

Glad to hear you had a good time. I've trolled the PNW forum, but the attitudes of a lot of the posters there has kept me from being active on the site. It seems to be a lot of the early 20-something, crotch rocket crowd. It's nothing like NHF. I guess that's why my riding home on the web is here.

That's the magic numbers... As much as I love my big ol' Literhawk, at 600lbs she ain't keeping up with modern rockets in a straight line. Now just wait til I get my hands on a CBR1000F engine to drop in...

A 700 is what it is and a new bike is much more. Get off your horse Gammer 700's look bad ass, not fast on top end... Just don't sell you self short with the Nighthawk S, is all. And don't let folks talk down about your bike when you are these kinds of events. Like you said, enjoy it and enjoy the company.

You know... I'd ride pretty much any of those bikes. I'm sure they are plenty quick, handle well, reliable and I'd happily own one and love it... but in a group, they're not really all that interesting. There are a thousand bikes just like them in every town across America. It's like going to a car show with just Dodge Vipers. The NH stands out.
