Never had that jacket in particular, but I'll vouch for Cortech/Tourmaster's quality. Actually about to put mine on since it's getting cool/rainy here.

I have a GX-Air (not S2) and like it fine. With the liners out it's comfortable at 100 degrees (as long as you're moving!) and with both in it's OK down to about 40. The sizing seems correct - I'm 5-11/190 and a large fits me well.

My husband has the Tourmaster Intake Air which I think is pretty much just the TM version with the same liner system. He likes it so much that when he lost weight and needed a new jacket he got the another one of these. It is his only jacket. He rode a few hours in the 50's (starting at 52) at freeway speeds last weekend with both liners a scarf and a t-shirt underneath. He has used it down to the 30s at lower speeds with more layers underneath. There are much better choices for temps that low but he got by OK.

I've used my Tourmaster Epic down to 20* with only a t-shirt under the jacket and liner. And if my scared of the cold southern butt can ride like that I know you hardcore folks can!

Thanks for the info. The bike should be fixed next week - then we can look at the budget. My Joe Rocket jacket is still serviceable, but it's past its prime and I want something in a high-vis color.

I bought that exact same jacket in yellow this spring. It's worked great all summer. The airflow is great with the liner out. With the liner in, I've ridden with it down in the low 50's. It was only for about a 20 minute ride, but I did not get cold. I haven't really worn it much in the rain so I can't speak to the water shedding abilities of the liner. One thing I don't love about it is the velcro closures at the wrists and neck. They just feel a little cheap.
I'm pretty sure that more cars notice me with the bright yellow than with my black leather jacket I used to wear. At least I've had less of them try to kill me since I started wearing it.

I've also got the gx air. I agree about the velcro, and the gussets get caught in the wrist zippers, but its a comfortable jacket. I'm really happy with mine. I've ridden almost every day for the last 3 months, and there were plenty of 100+ days, and just did 40 miles in 55 degree without the liner. Chilly, but not uncomfortable.

Quality wise you can't really go wrong with Cortech/TourMaster. I had a hard time with fitment on my TourMaster 3/4 length jacket, it would just fill up with air going down the road. Sold it to a friend and it worked great for him. I guess they are kind of like helmets, every brand is a little different.
