I went on a long casual ride yesterday and ended up at Iron Pony north of Columbus, OH. I have bought some things online from them and heard that the store was really cool. I had no idea the sheer scale of the place. A big plus was that there was a lot of people just hanging out talking bikes - my NH got a lot of attention by a diverse group of people fondly remembering owning one. It was at least 30 minutes before I made it into the store itself.

Once inside, it was like the clouds parted and the sun shone on me while an angelic chorus vocalized. If it is motorcycle or scooter related, this place has it. And maybe even in stock! There was no sales pitches, but an employee seemed to be at every corner eager to answer a question. I can not say enough about the staff there. One woman in the clearance section gleefully gave me a tour of the store.

Speaking of the clearance section, its huge. I mean really well stocked. I'd say the clearance section alone is 2,000 sq ft. No joke.

I had to leave there after 3 hours of walking around. My wife allowed me a budget and if I'd gone over, there would be hell to pay! Anyway, look at what I got:
Leather Armored Jacket: $49.99
Joe Rocket / Honda Armored Gloves: $45.00
Tank Bag / Protector $12.00

Out the door, $120 and a huge grin! I easily would recommend this store to anyone. I rode 2 hours to get there and I can't wait to go again.

Nice!! Wish it were closer to me. You'll have to post shopping rides regularly.

And now you need a little red trailer for the NH for all the bigger goodies.  smiler
