This is stock except for the following: - steel braided brake hoses - Givi Luggage - wind screen
I bought her in 1990 with 5,000km. It now (Sep 2011) has about 24,500km with 2k of that this year after 0k last year and a bunch of TLC this summer.

I like the look of the "S" model with the full givi set up. I don't recall seeing another like that.

Welcome NighthawkMax Where are you located? As soon as I saw the post title, I was immediately thinking "Canada". You don't see too many '85 750s elsewhere. Max! Love the touring setup. That windshield mod looks great.

I was thinking the same thing too. Just wondering if he is in my neck of the woods?

Thanks everyone for the "Welcome's" and the comments. Canada would be correct, Edmonton Alberta to be more accurate. That was a trip last (cold) weekend to Saskatchewan River Crossing that some riders called "ambitious" for a day trip.
Ahh the windscreen "mod". Yes that's a story unto itself. Let me just say briefly that in this same location about a month previous my buddies CBR's (you can see a bit of it in the pic) battery died. In the process of getting his bike going a gale force wind came out of the mountains and caught my open trunk and windscreen and pushed the bike off of the kick stand. The damage was a broken clutch handle and the lower 1/4 of the screen breaking off.
The "mod" is my smoothing of the broken side and the amputation of the good side, a somewhat rough job at that. A few hours of re-working the attachement to the bike and I was ready to go. This picture was the new screen's maiden voyage and it survived rain, hail, (did I mention cold), and top speeds of 130-140km (sorry mr officer sir).
It worked nicely to keep some of the cold away and, well, the 4 bugs that ventured that day.
