Wife and I headed for camp this weekend, last of Great weather, so took the DRZ 400 and had some fun.   Main goal was to see if there was a shot of getting around a gate on a power line road...  4 miles past this gate is the starting point of a hike deep in the woods and up a nasty gulch for some mine hunting....

I found another dirt road open, the Forest Circus was suppose to shut it this spring as folks have to dump there crap up there and cut tree's ETC..

Some cool view's here.

Found my way up to Sunset Falls. What a swimming hole, this has a huge run of Salmon and Stealhead.   One of the little streams dumping into this river was filling up with fish. The rain we had made the stream rise, this fish came in and started to spawn, then dropped and left fish dead and there spawning bed's dry. Hate that.

All in all a Great day, rain came in over night and big wind. We have had Weird BIG WIND this last week. NO power when we got home either, and there is a good one coming in off the sea today..  I've gone by this display for years and had a camera this time..

Finally @ camp and thirsty.

Got ya, When I saw that you and SOQS were heading up to camp I jut thought on the bike. I guess you trucked or trailered the bike up. Camp looks awesome. I need to get a trip in on my dr650 before the season ends here.

Everyone has mountains. Some are just further away than others.
