New to the nighthawk community.  its a 1992 750 I bought for $1,800 with 18K miles on it.  Rides great but unfortunately I live in Fairbanks, Alaska so my riding season is already over.  I plan on repainting the bike this winter, any good ideas for color?  The first picture is when I bought it and the second is after an intense cleaning.

Mine was painted with truck bedliner (Line-X) prior to me purchasing it.

It never dulls or fades. I just use a rag with some tire shine or any kind of lubricant for that matter and it makes it shine real nice.   happy1

I will never put the sissy bar back on to the bike, mainly because i'm not a fan of them, but my wife will not ride with me either.  Should i try to sell it?  It is in excellent shape, no rust and all the chrome looks great.  pad is in good shape too

I have a 92 black with the bar, Not a fan either but it does come in handy so I've left it on. I take it off now and then.....  Keep it, try it, you may like it....   If you sell it someone here will pay a good price.

I'd be interested if you decide to sell it. Do you know if it is a Hondaline or a aftermarket one?

Reason I ask, if it is a Hondaline, you can fetch a pretty penny for it.

welcome to the forum! If it were me, I'd stick with the stock color. That's a good looking bike! You're going to love riding the NH!

Nice ride.

I kept my sissybar on because it really comes in handy. The rack on back but espicially the leather pouch behind the backrest. You can store insurance, regestration and a lot of stuff in there. You can store a cap in there and when you get to your destination, just take the cap out and put it on. Takes care of bad hair days.
