Hi guys!

Since I don't have my motorcycle-license yet, I'm still stuck with the mopeds or my car.

Just made this one road-worthy:
Tomos 4L Customized:
Front fork from a Tomos AT50: http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/uploads/new/1988129.jpg

This is my first try with the GoPro, so I'll probably improve the quality along with my experience.

Check it out:

That back wheel looks kind of like the 650 front wheel...

It's a 5-speed.
But my front sprocket is to big.
This setup isn't powerful enough to pull it.

Should go faster with a smaller front sprocket.

I use basic 15W40 oil. Nothing special.

Are you talking engine oil or mixture oil?

Right now I use Castrol 2 stroke oil.
But I also love the Esso (Exxon Mobil) 2 stroke oil.
I use it in a 1:50 ratio.
There is no reason to mix it 1:25 like 40 years ago.
Oil, nowadays, is of much better quality than in the old days.

First recreational ride with friends:
The route wasn't very exiting to be honest.
But we had a great day out.
First 15 minutes:

Holland resembles Southern Louisiana or vise versa in the last video.

When I was stationed in Germany in the late 90's we stayed in Utrecht at a Holiday Inn.  We took the train to Amsterdam for a smoke fest!   smoking

I LOVE HOLLAND and the people were always so nice to us.  Thanks for sharing!

Ride Safe...

Nice ride.  I'm a bit baffled at how the lines on the road work though.  I'm used to a center line separating traffic.

It depends on what kind of roads you travel on. The trip was on rural roads. I like the because they sometimes have lots of curves and great views. Especially in the great river area where I live. In the attaches doc you can see the different road markings.

Really does look somewhat like home, FearthisSC!!!

Not having a center line would scare the fool out of me.

Why do you think so?

It creates the illusion of a small road.... which helps the goal of keeping the speed low.

Love the Lekdijk. I ride there often (both sides) three ferries between Vianen and Kinderdijk. On the north side there is a part forbidden for bikes. Too loud bikes in between the old houses. Check out Nieuwpoort. Have fun. It's too cold for me. The bike is in its wintersleep.

Wow, some of your roads are more narrow than my driveway. I'll bet it keeps you on your toes.

I guess it's the worry that there might be a time when bicylists, a cage, and me all need to use the point on the road.  Perhaps it's the camera but there doesn't appear to be enough room for all of us.
