I took a ride with some friends for a day trip into the mountains.  It was suppose to be the peak of the leaves changing color.  I'm going to post some highlight.

Wow, those yellow leaves really pop.  Nice photos and looks like a great time.

Good-looking tailbag. Who makes it?

Talespin,  The bag is made by Saddleman.  It is a canvas tail bag.  I built a PVC frame inside the bag so I can use the bag as a back rest.  I packed the front pouch with some closed cell foam to make comfy back rest.

Beautiful pictures - I assume those golden leaves are from Aspen trees?

Thanks for the info.

I'm going on a ride later this week to check out the west Texas foliage turning from brown to . . . browner.

Rides like yours are what I miss about living in northern New Mexico. Thanks for the pics!

Pants....yes, those are the aspens that are the beautiful gold.  There are some orange in the photo also.

Talespin......I want to ride Northern New Mexico.  Especially the Taos area.

cb650.... that was just north of Nederland on hwy 72 / 7.   It is a good time to ride the peak to peak highway.  Hey, if you are around Saturday we are planning to get out.  80's should make for a great day ride.

Hondo, it is kind of looking out over the Caribou Ranch Open Space.  It was only like 7 miles north of Nederland.
