Mt. Baker is a Ski area and a sleeping Volcano.  A route many bikes take is up Hwy 9 North to the big hill. So today was 70ish and Sun so a buddy and I met his buddy, Retired for a day on the road.

Long story short this ride is in country setting and little traffic for the most part. Lot's and lot's of twisty stuff, the stuff we crave.     I made a bunch of video and looking at some they seem to come out very nice with a new camera with HD  ricky

So here is a few pictures, I'll load some video next week, we are headed out camping this weekend, This was the most damn fun I've had on this 700s....  She didn't blow up and I was happy.....  And happy no cops around to.....

Nice pictures Jimbo. It's rained off and on every day for the last 2 weeks so now I know what it would be like to live in Washington state.  giggle

Does your blue 700 run better or worse than your red one? Hap1

Looks like a good adventure.  The video came out great, that small bridge towards the end seems quite narrow.

How cold was it in the upper elevations?  Over the weekend, we found it to be at least 5 degrees colder in the upper elevations (3000ish feet) and maybe 7 or 8 degrees colder.

Nice RR!!

This time of year we get that Temp inversion crap. Had the mesh jacket on coming home from work, then on with this winter one, WRONG.  It got to mid 70's on the low lands. In the foot hill's a mix, up the hill it was getting chilly and then warm on top..  I could have done fine with the mesh and my hoody on that had.

I love the fall time, only draw back is the roads are wet.....
