I just got a 1993 Nighthawk 750 last week and I love it. Back in 2002, I had a 1984 Nighthawk 700s and sold it a year later. I have truly missed that bike and would love to have it back. I have had a cruiser since selling the 700s, but have been wanting another Nighthawk for the last couple of years. I finally sold my cruiser and purchased my Nighthawk 750. It's not the same as the 700s, but close enough. I sure have missed having an inline-4. I don't care if I never have another v-twin unless it's in a V-Strom.

Here's a couple of quick photos of my new to me bike. I can't wait to get it set up the way I want it. I will be installing a Bestem luggage rack in the next few days. I'll do an installation write-up and review once I get it done. Still waiting for the luggage to come in.

Love that blue. I guess the colors in '92 were red or black, and '93 ws blue or black?

The Tahitian Blue is a '93 only color.

The Pearl Yellow is a '96 only color.

The '91-'92 Red is different (more crimson) than the '02-'03 Red (more orangeish)

It's really a sickness...this addiction.  wacko

I confuse easily guys.  Reading this thread I was gathering red was not a color for 1993.  But I bought a red 1993 back in July, or so I thought.  So I ran down to the garage and looked at the VIN plate and it indeed says 1993.  Even if it was a 1992 I still like it!

It was availible in 93 as well...I found this on the interwebs:

Quote
1993 CB750 "Nighthawk"

•It was available in one of three colors: Candy Bourgogne Red, Black, or Candy Tahitian Blue
•The serial number began JH2RC380*PM200001.

Your red is real!  thumb

I do stand corrected.  Apparently, the '91-'93 red was the same color.  IMO, the more attractive crimson red.
