hey guys, here it is, the wonderful special just before I beat it up some version of my 550.

mods (that I know of, it did have a few po's)
it has a 4-into-1 exhaust, sounds friggen awesome, I put clubmans on it (though they are upside down, they wont fit the right way), it has aftermarket itty bitty turn signals (that are illegal and now two are a little broke, whoops) it has only one mirror lol and is now missing the right side cover.  Perelli route 66 tires.

Ouch, those handlebars are comfortable?
Is this the bike with the tank banged up by the bars?

Why are the turn signals illegal?

It's New York, which is one step behind California. I would guess there are inspections for vehicles involved. So my guess would be it's to the discretion of the inspector. Some laws say you can't have LEDs, or others may just think they're not visible enough. I would think that you would be able to keep them on, provided you can demonstrate hand signals. I don't know, thankfully, Michigan doesn't have vehicle inspections.

actually, they arent that bad, and yes the tank is "dented" to make them able to turn more, I have superbike bars in the mail, but honestly, besides not going to full lock on both sides, I really like the bars like this, it handles worlds better, I am way more confident in my riding with them set low like that, it totally suprised me because I thought I would be more nervous

Why are the turn signals illegal?

DF is right, inspection, they are not DOT approved signals and therefore are illegal, they are not large enough, but the shop didn't much care, as most shops usually don't  hence the "technically"
