Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum.  A few months ago I bought a 92' 750 with 94K miles.  Today I washed it (with a water hose...opps) and several hours later started it.  Unfortunately the starter wont stop turning until I turn the key off.  May I have shorted something or does it just need to dry out something that got wet?  Thanks;)

It's either going to be your starter solenoid or the starter button itself, check those two items out first.

Try tapping on them with a screwdriver handle to free them up.
The starter solenoid can handle a stronger tap than the start button.

Gotta love the simple ones. I kept hearing a noise whenever I turned my bars to full lock, but only one direction. Starter button was hitting my tank bag shog.

Nice. Mine was hitting the horn. I got lots of attention pulling that U-turn....

I use dielectric grease on the moving parts behind the starter & horn buttons, makes the buttons operate like new.

(the kind of grease used in automotive light bulb sockets)
