I purchased this bike earlier this year finally posting pics. She runs great. Front rotor was glazed bad and clutch needed adjustment. Currently working on replacing the shifter itself. Bent under the front cover so it dose'nt fully engage each gear. Only paid 700 for it and my buddy rode from pittsburgh to cleveland with out a problem.

welcome  Looks like you got a good deal.

BTW, my shifter was doing the same thing.  I bent it back in shape with no problems, it doesn't take much to clear that cover.

Have fun!  ricky

We tried bending it back its bent in like 4 differnt directions. If we get it out far enough we cant get our food under. I am ordering a new one this weekend. Making plans for some winter work on the bike.

I do plan on keeping the turn signals but want to move them in closer to the bike they just stick out to far. I am not a fan the chrome but love the styling. Also I am replacing the head lamp with a new h4 bulb. Its sad when My tail light is brighter then my headlight. Heck my turn signals are brighter then the headlight. The luggage rack has grown on me. I kinda hated it at first but after planning to take long rides i realized it is going to be needed.

I have been contemplating painting it. Almost every nighthawk I see is black would like to be a little different.
