Greetings,
I'm brand new to the forums, but I've had my bike for 3 years now. It's a fantastic bike. I ride as much of the year as possible and especially enjoy late evening rides. I've added the windshield, a new seat cover, a new back tire, a handlebar clock and a bag on the back. Last night I purchased a Corbin Gunfighter and Lady saddle of of eBay. I've really enjoyed learning about maintenance and I'm really happy that I've found this forum!

The reason I posted the last pic is because I'm wanting to put on some highway pegs. I'm looking at the pegs pictured below. Can anybody let me know if they're compatible?
They're Kuryakyn Chrome Road Pegs-1-11/8 inch bars.

Thanks! The tach does work, although I now remember having to replace the speedometer cable shortly after I bought the bike. I've also had the cluster apart to replace the lights in the tach and the speedometer without problems.

REALLY? How do you take the tach apart? I thought it was a self contained unit?

If I remember correctly, I just started fiddling and it involved some screws on the bottom side. However, in hindsight, I may not have changed the lights in the tach but rather just in the speedometer.

Niether have screws in the bottom. They both can be opened only by being cut open. Mabye your thinking of another bike.

No, this is my only bike. Let me take a look today and get back to you. I'm certain that mine either had standard or Allen screws on the bottom that allowed me access.

Ok, my bad. I just disassembled mine. It seems that the COVER comes off with 2 screws, your quite right. This allows you access to the bulbs, but the tach itself is self contained which is why we have to buy a new one when the upper solder comes apart at around 20,000 miles. Hell, mine is full of thick silcon-like cobwebs all over the connections, as if a wolf spider lived in it long ago! Im going to clean out all the webbing, put the cover back on and HOPE that fixes the RPM gauge (Man, am I being unrealsticaly hopeful! As if webs would cause a short! I myswell start beliving in the tooth fairy).

Hey man, I've got a 7 year old. There is a tooth fairy. I'm it.
I kind of figured out we were talking about two different things. Getting the instrument out of the cup isn't difficult, but I've never actually tried to get into the gauge itself.

I've been reading around on the forum and have seen that some 92 750's have center stands. Mine doesn't. Was this an option at original purchase or an add on? Does anybody know where I could get one?
Thanks,
John
