Picked up a 93 CB750. The tach isn't functioning properly and I don't know how long it'll be until I get it fixed. My question is, in 5th gear, at what speed will the bike redline, assuming stock gearing? I've see reports of folks doing 100 mph. The speedometer goes well above that. Anybody? Bueller?

                           125 MPH....201 KPH
                 Slower, if Calif. smog creates resistance.

I heard that. I live near the beach. The sea breeze pushes all the smog inland. Wait, that means I'm at sea level where the air is thicker.

Anyway, when the rev limiter kicks in at that speed it's weird being momentarily powerless...
