I have the exact headlight on my bike. It's cheap and isn't bright enough for regular night riding. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra cash on a good quality DOT approved headlight.

You may want to consider something like this...

the round head lite was on the 82 650 nitehawk. I dont think it would be a easy swap.
