I agree Creaky, but the important thing is that he has a ship and it is floating.  banana

My back hurts just looking at your bike....

Oh, come on now. It still has front suspension and a little foam in the seat.

Not really. Try riding 2500+ miles on unmaintained dirt roads at 5-50mph every year.

Speaking of which, why don't boppers have a rigid front suspension like the steel bar that replaces the rear suspension? That'll give you rigid.

I dont understand the bobber thing. What is a bobber exactly?

The short description for the typical one you will actually see on the street occasionally: Start with a very nice older CB series motorcycle in good condition. Take a sawzall and chop the back end off. Remove the air box and put pods on. Sawzall the mufflers off the exhaust pipes. Remove the rear suspension and replace it with a rigid steel bar on each side that is as short as possible to minimize ground clearance. Chop out as much of the electrical system as possible. Paint what is left with rattle can flat black spray paint.

At that point, they either ride it around about half as often as barleys or give up because it won't run for squat at which time it ends up in the dumpster.

Dunno. 101 uses for a sawzall or something like.

:) Sounds good BB! Thanks for the info. I have decided this is what I am going to do to mine! (just kidding).

It's cool though...somehting different. Although I hate to see any Nighthawk hacked up...it's like seeing a 55 Chevy hacked and made into a Gasser.

Forget the bike.  I want to swim laps in that sweet pool you have in the backyard.
