I'm posting this up a week late but better late than never. Last Sunday I had the morning all to myself, no hockey games to run the kids to and the weather was beautiful. Started my ride about 8:00 with no destination in mind. I started riding out towards bucks county PA and when ever I saw a road I wanted to explore I just made the turn and never looked back.
I headed down a gravel road I have never been on and it dead ended into the river.

What a beautiful view and the fall colors are starting to pop a little.

The sky was so clear you could see the moon.

Gravel roads were popping up all over the place.

Back on the black top and a few miles down the road I discovered this beautiful water fall.

A litter deeper into the country side I rode up on this single lane bridge over a nice little creek.

Another desolate gravel road led to a dead end at someones property.

About a half hour later I was enjoying the winding roads and got to a point where I wouldn't say I was lost but lets just say I wasn't sure exactly where I was. I found this old gas station kind of in the middle of nowhere. It was worth a few pics.

I continued to ride and starting seeing some roads that looked familiar and ended up in Hellertown PA. There is a place called the lost river caverns there so I had to stop in. They have some really cool stuff there and run tours through the caves but the next one was not for an hour and I did not feel like hanging around so I took a couple pics and continued on.

A little more of the fall colors starting.

I like the way the light was shining through the bike on this pic.

Mountains in the distance.

I stopped for a water and a snack and these guys wee flying overhead.

On the way home I stopped by the lake to give my butt a rest and took a couple pics. You guys may have seen a similar picture here with my 650 nighthawk, I stop by here sometimes if I'm in the area, it is very relaxing.

It was a beautiful day with lots of great roads on and off road, I will do this ride again. I logged almost 200 miles in about 6 hours of back country road riding.
