Just picked up this '04 HD Dyna Low Rider (with under 1000 miles!) on a straight up trade for a 1973 Ford Maverick (grabber). (click on images for larger versions)

Now that I removed the forward controls and reinstalled the mids, it is extremely comfortable for me.

I'm really much more of a Kawasaki guy (my 2003 ZRX1200R is my primary ride), but this bike isn't too shabby for a Harley.

I dig it...I think the wrapped headers into the megaphone look a bit out of place, but that's just my personal opinion.  lamer

Congrats on the new ride!  thumb

The bike is extremely comfortable (including the handlebar position).  Which was a surprise to me..

Nice bike. I agree with you about putting the mids back on. Riding with forwards killed me.   yikes

Yeah, I sat on a HD that had bars about that height thinking, "this won't be comfortable."  but it actually seemed very natural.  Looks good.  It's a good look.  Not trendy.  Just a good looking bike.

The sun in the ZRX pic makes it look like a gift from the gods.

On the ZRX, is that some sort of protective screen that you installed in front of the radiator?  If so, I'm interested in knowing more about it.

It's more of a "bling" item...but does serve as protection as well.  Someone in the ZRX community made them...

Back in the dialup BBS days, my name was "maverick"...but that is too common for the Internet.  So "iMav" was born several years ago.  ;)

...Back in the dialup BBS days...

Hehehe... I haven't heard anyone speak about those days in a while, seems most have no clue what a BBS was.  I ran a Commodore 64 one in my town with a buddy of mine back in the '80s, it was a lot of fun.

I like the engine detail on this bike.  My buddy has an '06 Sportster Roadster 1200 but there is no chome, looks more like an unpolished aluminum or white metal (not sure what it is).  I have seen some completely chromed out, and some completely blacked out, neither are eye popping to me.  Your has a nice blend of black and chrome, which is one thing that I liked about my model of Intruder.  Congrats on your trade.

I'm not a big fan of the exhaust...do I may go with some black shorties.  I'll have to think about it over the winter.

A BBS is what existed before the internet was available to the general public.
