Ok, so I decided to let the local shop change the seal. But, they call me once they get in there and there is no bushing in the right front fork. He wasn't sure this was something that could be ordered and thought the best route would be to buy a used fork off of ebay. Any advice from some of the veterans here.

I would recommend E-Bay also. I was missing the oil cut off spring in my left fork for the "TRACS" system. 34.00 dollars later I had a full front set of forks......... But if you dissect that I paid 34.00 for a two dollar spring scratcher Thats the Joy of driving a classic super

Why wasn't he sure? Did he try to look it up before calling you?

I called because I had a question and he told me before he had a chance to look. Anyway, it does look like I'll be shopping ebay. I also saw a craigslist add for a Nighthawk parts bike. Good Times.

So, BB are you implying that just the Bushing can be purchased??

Is it the upper or lower bushing?

They're both available from PowerSportsPlus.com. The upper bushing is number 13 in the fiche, Honda part number 51414-463-003. The lower bushings are unique to each side of the fork.

As always, it's a good idea to give the website a call to confirm availability of the part, oftentimes they'll say they can get it until a few days after you put your order in, at which point they'll tell you it's not available, and you've just wasted three days.
