I got this 2002 Nighthawk on a whim. It is a 2002 model with only 1,600 miles on the clock and so clean. I couldn't resist the temptation. NH750Kitch’s ‘Precious’ will be jealous with this one. Engine starts right up and ran very smooth. Only issue was it still has the original ‘2001’ dated tires. It came with the huge National Cycle Flexfairing. I took it off after I took the pictures and mounted a small Street Shield EX. Here is with my old Red '92 NH750. I think she got to go. I took it for a spin in the afternoon.

The consistent black and silver motif from the wheels to the engine to the luggage is really sharp. Always a fan of those smaller engine guards. Is it possible for ten year old tires to be decently preserved at all?

Beautiful bike with that luggage and miles yea you got a new Knighthawk. Enjoy! Mine had the same or just a tad smaller shield I liked it in the cooler weather until I got the sail effect.

Great find. Can you describe the hard luggage and rack setup?
The leaves are really turning in the Northeast. Jealous to be sure.

What a great find! I got mine just like that (same year and color) last year with 1050 miles. That's awesome that it came with the hard bags and engine guards etc. I had the same issue with the tires - perfect tread but dry rotted - they had to go. I went with Avon Roadriders. Enjoy!

Wow - what a find! Those bags need some highway pegs to go with them 'cause you'll be travellin'!

Thank you for the compliments. I am very pleased with the new addition. I will definitely replace the tires soon. I have Avon Roadriders on the red one and I think they are good. Any other suggestions? Great find. Can you describe the hard luggage and rack setup?
The leaves are really turning in the Northeast. Jealous to be sure.
They are Givi 460 (46liter) and E21 (21liter) combination with GIVI Wingrack frame. 46 liter one is very handy size: can fit one or two full face helmets and decent room for long haul. E21 is small but handy for day trips. My favorite combo is 46 liter for the top box and E360(40liter) side cases. With this setup you may be able to do cross country trip with camping gears. It has turned colors here and at or just peaked. You will have it in a month down south? I made a trip to the Adirondacks few weekends ago. Will post the pics this evening. not sure I could swing a leg over though...
It is a challenge to me with short inseam length. I scratched the bags with boots so many time before. So I am careful now during mount/dismount. Those bags need some highway pegs to go with them 'cause you'll be travellin'! You reminded me of the highways pegs that I got from hppants last month. I planned to put them on my BMW but I forgot about them. Perfect. BTW, did I unconsciously buy this one to put the highway pegs

[ Wow!!! My compliments on such a glorious find. +1 on replacing those tires. Who knows...you may finally have a machine that is almost as clean as mine Kitch

Kitch, I was so embrassed when I saw your bike last time. Your bike is simply immaculate. Now I have a bike as clean as yours. So I will keep it that way BTW, few NH riders in the NY-NJ area are planning a ride either Nov 12 or 13. We are contemplating a visit to the Motorcycle Museum in Newburgh, NY. Hope you can join us.

BTW, did I unconsciously buy this one to put the highway pegs They will work just fine on your new NH. They held my size 12 boots for quite a few miles.

Wow Nicholas, she is a beauty for sure, precious will be jealous. Where did you find it with such low milage? BTW, few NH riders in the NY-NJ area are planning a ride either Nov 12 or 13. We are contemplating a visit to the Motorcycle Museum in Newburgh, NY. Hope you can join us.
Is there a thread on this get together? If now could you send me some info, I might be able to squeeze it in.

Great find, glad someone set this one up so nicely and then never rode it. It's like it's been out there waiting for one of us to find it.
