Picked it up today.  Charged the battery, put new gas in, started in like 2 cranks with no choke and no starting fluid.  It kinda surprised the hell outta me on how quick it is, and that it will wheelie  ;D

Picked it up today.... put new gas in..
thus placing 10% of the bike's price into the fuel tank.

Do you have something equally economical in mind for the headlight, or is that going to cost more than the bike? Hap1

At the price, it could have a patina of rust and leave little oil puddles and still be a decent deal.

I found mufflers on e-bay for $ 24.00 each. the headlight and turn signals can come from a cm400-450 or cb450sc. i may have missed it but i think you need the power chamber to connect the headpipes to the mufflers. pull the plug out the drain tube and let the gunk run out that will make it run better. if it's clogged it will run like you need a tuneup. looks good and i love the price and please post pic's of it as you put it back together.

So there has to be a story behind how you got this bike. Too good of a deal not to have a story.

And I second  welcome to the forums.

I got it from a guy in my class.  Teacher was talking about his track bike, and a kid asked why he didn't have a street bike.  Guy in my class offered him a road bike for $100. Teacher siad no thanks, i said yes please.  I asked him what exactly it was and he said uhhh its an 80s Honda cruiser, It'll run if you put the tank back on, $100. I figured it would be a total POS with a seized engine. Its actually nice, other then the wiring looks a little hacked, and the turn signals don't work.
