JB, we ran into a group of VFR riders in the mountains and they said the new 1200s felt slower than the old 750s. I mean that's someone else's butt dyno we're talking about, but it couldn't hurt to test ride both.

I have heard that they feel slower than previous models but, I'm sure that may be because they are heavier than they used to be. I'm not too concerned about the speed aspect of it. I'm looking at the touring ability of the bike.

Although, I would also take a newer FJR as well.  naughty

For a sport bike, definitely an Aprilia RSV4. The italians have a certain way of incorporating sex into their machines. Aprilia is definitely no exception. All the performance and looks a guy could want.

For a cruiser, i'd really like to get a 20's-40's Indian, or a WWII Harley. I have a soft-spot for older bikes. Pictured is an XA 1942.

Here's a 1928 Indian Scout. DO WANT.

I'm with hawkeye, I really like the CB1300...

I'd also like to throw in a Triumph Thruxton just for grins.
