Like the title says, I haven't been able to go riding since the rally, and finally found the time and money at the same time today so off I went. Nothing special, just up north to the mountains for some twisties and views. The leaves were changing so it was a beautiful ride.

Found a neat little lake that I'd never seen before

Rode up and down 60 a few times, and it was kind of sketchy because there was massive amounts of gravel in the turns. The locals are known to put it out as a deterrent for riders. Not cool, and definitely made for some pucker moments when you're leaned way over and see it coming with no room to maneuver. I took it pretty easy for the ride to give myself more time to react.

Found the former Two Wheels Only building, its really to bad they closed down.

When I stoped for gas, not only did they have some amazing pizza, but ethanol free gas! Been awhile since I've seen that.

Did about 200 miles, and I'm exhausted. I've lost my long distance endurance, I need to get out and do more than my daily commute more often.

It was high 40's. Both liners in and a thermal and I was a little toasty. Great weather.

Great pics - love the colors.  Bike looks nice.  Which tank bag is that?  I could use a larger one myself.

To me that first shot says it all, looks like a great place to go riding.  And the pizza is just a plus!

Its the cycle gear standard bilt tank bag. Its expandable to about twice what you an see there, but the magnets are quite weak so I don't trust it to hold much weight. My Joe Rocket bag has much stronger magnets, but won't fit what I need for commuting.

My goal in live is to find a suitable hard bag setup that's waterproof (i keep my bike outdoors) that doesnt cost me a million dollars.

I sometimes have to remind myself that I live within 40 miles of some of the best riding in the states. Those roads are 45 minutes away, the dragon is about 2 hours, and everything in between. Atlanta traffic, job market, and cost of living just sucks.
