Right now it's between 35 and 45 in the Netherlands.
I only get cold hands, the rest stays warm when wearing my full gear (goretex).
Inhaling cold air also sucks...

I refuse to ride with temps below 32... that's when the cookie jar (car) will take over :)
I don't want to kill myself, so no 2wheels on frozen roads for me...

ps: Leather is for the summer, not for the winter... You're better off with a Goretex suit.

One thing I found out today when I had to go pick my bike up from the shop....I had full riding pants, jacket with liner, boots and gloves and fullface helmet. It was 35 degrees and my fingertips went fast. So did my chin and I ended up riding the loaner bike (an NH 250) to the dealership with one hand on the throttle, and the other glove covering my chin since it was turning into ice. At the shop, I was convinced to grab a belevaqua or some such thing...a cover for my head/face. I looked like a ninja, but it did the trick. I rode my 750 home and then kept riding for an extra half an hour for fun.

I have been thinking of getting heated gloves and a heated vest too.

I wear thermo under clothes (don't know how you guys actually call that... ) when it gets really cold.
I also wear a Bikers Windstopper (paid somewhere around $53,- for it:

That thing works extremely well!

Yeah basically the Belivaqua I was talking about. The head and neck cover, making you look like a ninja. Works very well.
