Att. All Nighthawk lovers
First of all, it´s a great forum, especially because I live in Denmark and
the CB 650 SC was never imported to Denmark. There was a similar model sold
in Germany with a few changes, .. called a CBX 650 E. Therefor I really
appriciate other people with the same interest and also have a community in
finding spare parts etc.

In 1995 and again in 1999 I was with a friend cruising in the USA (from the
Rockies to the west and up till Montana). Both times riding a 650 Nighhawk.
I was so amased by the bike, that I tried to bring it back to Denmark. But
in those days it was very difficult because the bike was not sold in
Denmark..... lot of paperwork, testing and spending a lot of money.
Therefore no Nighthawk at first.
Later on a lot of Hondas from the 80´ was exported from USA to Holland...
and with the new rules in the EEC, -- the common market, you can import
bikes to Denmark from other EEC countries without problems.

So in 2006 I found 2 Nighthawks 650 in Holland and brought them to Denmark.
So the history is USA, Holland and now Denmark.

( When you can´t find or afford a X-75 Hurricane a Nighthawk 650 is the
best ! )

Since then I have renovated and done a lot of work. I have a black 1984  CB
650 SC and a blue 1985 CB 650 SC. The picture shown is the blue one with
18.000 miles on the clock. Everything except the engine guards (Hondaline
accessories...need this product for the black one) and the windshield is
100 % original. I´ve used new honda parts from cmsnl.com or parts from USA.
Still got the bike and very happy.

The two Nighthawks got one stablemate a VLX 600 CD Shadow from 1996
imported to Germany when is was new, and now in Denmark ..... and only 6000
miles on the clock. Also a great bike, but surely not a Nighthawk. More
like a cruiser, you use when you are going on the local café.

Lars from Denmark

The 650 is sure a fun bike to ride, too bad it is so hard to get parts for them. Looks like a nice bike!
