Its been sitting for 2 1/2 years at a Pawn Shop (lost in the back) , The new owner ( the son) of the shop found it and listed it on CL for $600.00 OBO. Its was running when it was pawned so I was told. So I got my work cut out for me on this one, I needed a new project since the 92 nighthawk is finished. Plus she was getting lonely in the garage. I paid $500.00, Carb's need a pine-sol treatment and the gas tank drained and cleaned to get it running I hope, or it may be a parts bike in the end.

Looks like a fun project. I've been wanting to find an old Wing to work on. Good luck!

The title and frame vin numbers match and are 1981. You are right they are 1983. thanks for pointing that out. Found this on a information data pg. (Wheels are sturdy eleven spoke alloys on the 1983 models, the earlier ones have Comstars which have been known to develop play where the rivets meet the rim.) So some PO in the past must have changed them out. P.S Both are matching rims.

do you know if that is an '81 motor? trans ratios for 4th and 5th gear are different on an '83 to bring the rpm's down, 60mph should tach about 3400 rpm, the 81 motor should be around 3700 rpm
