The stock 14/33 gearing kind of sucks, I used to have a rebel which is the same bike essentially with 14/30 gearing and it was perfect.

I want to go 14/31 with the nighthawk though because of the tire diameter difference, but I can't find that or a 15T. I'd prefer 15/33 because it's much easier to install and is supposed to be better for the chain but there's none to be seen. All I can find is 32T and 30T...

I've seen places that MIGHT have it, but it doesn't specifically say it will fit a NH250 and I don't wanna chance throwing 20$ away. If nobody knows of anywhere I guess I'll just settle with 14/30, but a front sprocket would be sooooooooo much better!

Anybody know where to get one that they *know* will fit?

Most sites have a 'Contact' area where you can e-mail for clarification.

I did a simple search (Protip, use term CB250)
Sprocket made in Florida fits CB250.  I'd confirm.
eBay has a Sunstar one.
You could probably also scour through sprocket manufacturer sites...

Damn straight!!! Thank you so much man! 26$ is a little steep but that includes free shipping so about 18-20 for the sprocket itself, not too bad.

Yeah I always did look for the part under "CB250" but I swear I hit every major site like bike bandit and MC-SS and ebay, as well as dozens of "smaller" sites and every damned one had 33T, 14T, 32T and 30T and some had like 35T but who wants to gear lower on a road bike. Not a one had a 31T or 15T and it was just driving me crazy I knew there had to be a 15 out there somewhere and 30 may be a little too tall for the nighthawk...15 will be perfect! Almost on par with 14/31, which I believe is the stock gearing for the newer 250's.

You da man!   ricky
